FASTRA again support Musical Theatre for Children
Dear friends of the Musical Theatre for Children (Hudební divadlo dětem), we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the many years of support you have shown for our work and musical theatre for children. Thanks to our partners and companies such as FASTRA, s.r.o., we are again continuing to bring joy to children in theatres in many places around the Czech Republic! Although the revival of cultural life in the "post-Covid era" has begun somewhat timidly, our extremely grateful audience is made up of children and teachers who have been regular visitors to our performances for more than twenty years now. We artists are equally grateful for the support we have received from generous donors to enable quality works for children to live and bear fruit! Joy and children’s shining eyes are the best reward any of us could ask for!
For more than twenty years now, Hudební divadlo dětem (www.divadlodetem.cz) has been creating and putting on musical and theatre shows for elementary and nursery school children as well as for the general public in theatres all over the Czech Republic. With the musical story “The Little Prince”, not only do we now attract lower elementary schoolchildren, but the delighted audience in the theatres hosting the performance also includes upper elementary pupils. And as part of this year’s shows for the public you can attend a performance of this musical at the Semafor Theatre in Prague on 3 June 2023 at 10:00 a.m. :-)
Three new musical fairy tales based on stories by Josef Čapek, packed with merry songs and beautiful dances, are now on their way to entertain the youngest audiences in theatres around the Czech Republic. These new Musical Theatre fairy tales were created during the “Covid” era, when singing was banned, and so they have been given the name: “Let's sing, children”.
