We support our colleagues and their hobbies
Once again, we gave our support to the PC Sokol Velim amateur petanque society, which our lovely colleague has been a member of for 9 years now.
Competitors in this tournament, which has the very typical name of “Cyril Methodius Ball 2023” with regard to its date (5 July 2023 - Cyril and Methodius Day in the Czech Republic), also welcomed well-known players from the CZECH ASSOCIATION OF PETANQUE CLUBS (ČAPEK), Petr Vavrovič (3rd best player in the Czech Republic) and Petr Fafek (8th best player in the Czech Republic). Quite a few competitors entered the tournament and here were a total of 20 two-player teams.
Although this was an amateur tournament, the competitors put all their effort into their game despite the poor weather. The lucky winners won small prizes, some of which were also donated by Fastra, s.r.o.
We are glad that in today’s fast-paced world, there are still people who want to enjoy their hobbies whatever the weather and are capable of having a good time.
