FASTRA Cup 2023
On Friday 25 August 2023, our company FASTRA, s.r.o. held the 22nd annual traditional corporate FASTRA Cup 2023, once again in collaboration with the Golf & Country Club Svobodné Hamry.
The event was organised by the company’s managing director Miroslav Stehlík together with his associate Pavel Holý.
This year’s tournament was again a great success. Attendance figures were high and included a number of international participants.
As it does every year, FASTRA used the event as an opportunity to present new products in its range.
It showed off the new dimensions available for its STOPL-S4-F1 high-pressure hot tapping equipment, the DN350 PN40 and DN200 PN16. It also presented a brand new product, the EFS electrical fittings for PE d90, d100 and d225 pipes. Like every year, the FASTRA Cup was mainly about entertainment, good food, fine wine and a fun programme of accompanying events. Good food was again provided by our company’s staff. Entertainment was the domain of caricaturist Jiří Novotný, who drew a fun picture as a souvenir for our business partners. As usual, the event also included archery, which was a real first as no arrows were lost this year. In addition, the programme featured a wine tasting competition. That was won by our business partner from Turkey. Last but not least, we should also mention the sommelier wine tasting hosted by Ivo Kaňovský (from the Mikrosvín Mikulov Winery).
And, let’s not forget, the FASTRA Cup is a golf tournament above all. This year, the Challenge Cup was awarded to two winners, Vít Buchta and Petr Zajíček.
We hope that our business partners enjoyed the event, which was held as a token of thanks for their cooperation, something we greatly appreciate.
We enjoyed fine weather all day long and there was no shortage of sunshine. For the evening entertainment there was a concert by the Čáslav band Rosa, featuring the beautiful vocals of Radka Radilová with instrumental accompaniment from Aleš Chudomel and Rudolf Soukup.
Finally, we would like to once again thank all our business partners for attending, especially as some of them came a really long way to be there. We’ll be looking forward to seeing them again at our next corporate event.
