Pipeline Tapping Equipment
Pipeline tapping equipment is used mainly for drilling holes into pipelines using leak-free methods (so-called Hot Tapping); i.e., the equipment enables drilling of holes to the pipeline with internal overpressure of the transported medium, or other spaces with internal overpressure in a way, which prevents any leakage of the media. The individual devices differ in their design, depending on the maximum pressure in the tapped pipeline (or space), diameter of the hole drilled, and the purpose of the use.
