FASTRA CUP 2022
FASTRA celebrated its 30th anniversary with its business partners.
The anniversary was linked to a traditional corporate event, the FASTRA Cup (2022), the 21st edition of which took place on 19 August 2022, as always in cooperation with Golf & Country Klub Svobodné Hamry.
The FASTRA Cup was organized by the company’s managing director Miroslav Stehlík together with his associate Pavel Holý. The turnout was really high and included international representation. We started the event with a celebratory toast and cutting of the anniversary cake. The weather was favourable, so our business partners could enjoy a great programme on a warm pleasant day. The day’s programme traditionally included a golf tournament and a golf academy for those who wanted to find out how a golf club fits in their hand. The entertainment programme also included the opportunity to try throwing stars, knives, and archery and crossbow shooting under the guidance of professionals (chladnezbrane.eu). For some, the biggest attraction was the “pig on the grill”. Lots of food and good wine was naturally available. FASTRA also took the opportunity of this important event to present its expanded line of stoppling devices. New additions to the product range are the stoppling devices for high-pressure pipes STOPL-S4-F1 DN100 PN40, STOPL-S4-F1 DN500 PN40 (under development) and STOPL-S2-F1 DN200 PN16 (soon to be brought into operation). In the afternoon, the SRANDACUP golf awards were announced and the two winners, Jiří Bachmann and Jiří Křepelka, received the challenge trophy. The fun afternoon continued with a performance by Martina Slabá, a Czech tai chi specialist. This petite, but strong lady has been European Champion several times and has won awards over several years in competitions all over the world. Her performance was breathtaking.
The evening entertainment continued with Zdeněk Jeřábek’s Kutná Hora-based band V.I.P. and his singing accompaniment. The FASTRA team took care of the evening hospitality by working the grill.
