FASTRA in the Austrian Alps
On July 10 and 11 2023, FASTRA successfully completed a project in the beautiful Austrian Alps. This order was carried out for the Munich-based customer Schandl GmbH and focused on the mountain town of Telfs.
This opens up potential for FASTRA in a new market, where it performs professional work on high-pressure pipelines.
It involved the two-sided hot tapping of PE pipes with dimensions of dn280 on one side and dn315 on the other. The pipes were hot tapped in order to connect the pipeline to the new regulation station.
Although this was a technically demanding job, we can’t forget that it was carried out in the stunning scenery of the Austrian Alps. Telfs, with its views of imposing mountain peaks and picturesque valleys, provided the ideal backdrop for this project. The FASTRA team had the opportunity to work in this breathtaking setting, which added an extra dimension to the work and was encouraging for everyone involved.
