Welding Supervision Activities in an Organisation
FASTRA attended the Welding Supervision Activities in an Organisation conference on 15 and 16 September 2022. The conference was held at the Patria guest house in the village of Kobylí in South Moravia under the patronage of the Czech Society for Product Welding (ČSSP). FASTRA sales representatives had a display stand for attendees showing our products, both consumables and, for example FH shaped fittings and various drilling bits. The high point was the STOPL-S-F1 stoppling set for PE d225 pipeline, which attendees could view from very close up. Ing. Jan Kánský gave a lecture to the attendees on the topic of Technology Used for Temporary Pipeline Shut-off. A very interesting lecture about specific products, where the technology used was compression of PE pipeline, was given by Ing. František Humhal from GasNet. FASTRA has had compression products in its product portfolio for a number of years and, in cooperation with GasNet, in the past contributed to the development of compressing equipment up to a dimension of d315.
The evening was devoted to professional discussions and good Moravian wine.
